Something Terrible Happened to Joey and You!
A Closer Look has taken the short animated film, Something Terrible Happened to Joey and created an entire educational campaign around it.
This educational campaign spawned a study guide, collaborated on by the New York State Education Department and Office of Mental Health. Additionally, the film and study guide have been included in the Student Mental Health Matters Toolkit on PBS LearningMedia™
We have made all of the outreach campaigns resources available to the public for free and have seen over a thousand impressions between all apparatuses. Now we want to see more! We want to partner with more groups and participate in and spread new methods of working on trauma!
